In 1982, he began creating evening gowns and wedding dresses in his own atelier in Beirut and since then, he has established himself as one of the big names in haute couture. His boutiques are present in major fashion capitals such as London, New York, and Paris, and his creations have captivated royal families and celebrities such as Halle Berry, Celine Dion, and Angelina Jolie.
The Lebanese designer thrilled and inspired with his glamorous masterpieces on the Bridal Night fashion show.
EVANESCENT DESIGNS, EXQUISITE FABRICS AND ELABORATE FLORAL DETAILS
Inspired by the blossoming kingdoms of the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, “A sense of wonder. Spring 2024” by ELIE SAAB dazzled beneath the spotlight on the longest-awaited night in bridal fashion. His bridal collection, which he unveiled for the first time on the catwalk, captivated the audience and transported them to the joyful, serene universe of his imagination.
The Lebanese fashion designer presented a total of 30 outfits, eight of which were specially designed for the occasion, and astonished the house with his tight-fitting silhouettes and intricate, iridescent decorations of sequins, pearls and feathers, all to bring out a woman’s femininity.

Barcelona Bridal Night, an explosion of successful designs
The BBFW gala night is confirmed as the not to be missed date on the most celebrated bridal fashion calendar. The main designs in previous years were those by Viktor & Rolf (BBFW22), Marchesa (VBBFW19), Reem Acra (BBFW18), Ángel Sánchez (BBFW17), Naeem Khan (BBFW16) and Houghton (BBFW15).
