The architect-designer has come up with a line of dresses that are also suitable for day wear, resulting in a sartorial collection with Couture details. This is how Park Avenue was born.
Fresh and light thanks to the skilful craftsmanship, with ruffles that “dance away from the body”, and to the use of weightless fabrics like voile and silk organza. Graceful and almost childlike with its micro collars, small buttons and short dresses.
Antonio Riva’s style can be defined as unquestionably sophisticated, with those iconic bows placed on black belts that tighten the waist in a hyper feminine silhouette that becomes the leitmotif of the collection.
There are also capes and trench coats in crisp fabrics and shapes that are very reminiscent of Haute Couture. But the most striking thing is the colour palette: lively, sparkling and delicate at the same time. From teal to peridot green, from pastel yellow to pink and coral. In fact, this last colour was worn by actress Margareth Madè, who attended the party along with many other guests.
Le Dee del mio Paradiso (The Goddesses of my Paradise) is the name that the designer Elisabetta Delogu chose for her bridal and evening wear collection. Inspired by the ending scene of the 1989 Oscar-winning film Cinema Paradiso and the intense looks of the silent film stars, the designer was able to create a timeless universe where fabrics, antique lace and precious handmade embroideries are combined with craftmanship and contemporary forms that create astonishing contrasts. Sartorial research and extreme attention to details make each dress a unique and perfect work of art!
The pleats, characteristic of Elisabetta Delogu‘s style, become thinner, the silks become brighter, the layering more perfect. 3D leafy designs and flowers are the coloured details that honour nature, while a palette of whites and pinks blends with lamé of a thousand silvery shades. An aura of purity and romanticism permeates the collection, exhibited in the new Milanese space of Via Compagnoni 8. A place that reflects the taste and characteristics of the designer: refined, exclusive, with an intimate and slightly retro atmosphere. The ideal place to stop and daydream about a dress for the most special day.
