Contemporaneity is the watchword that well outlines the men’s, groom’s and ceremony collections seen on the BBFW catwalks for 2023.
The “new classic” is a mix of high tailoring, attention to detail and workmanship, continuous research into materials and technologies that includes even the most traditional suits, thanks to three-dimensional decorations, unexpected cuts and decidedly unusual colours.

Colours such as coral pink, grape or parakeet green, saffron yellow or pumpkin orange, copper, burgundy, aubergine and turquoise.

Declinations of white, from cream to ivory, from cream to butter, and of blue, ranging from sky blue to midnight blue to the quintessential black and its entire range of greys.

Precious yarns are woven into the jackets in a play of refined stylistic elegance, jacquards and damasks design floral or geometric patterns that sometimes cover the entire look.

There are many variations for the collars, in the Korean style or with lapels embellished with stones and crystals, and a touch of cheerfulness with the coloured waistcoats peeking out from the jackets.

But the newest trend is appealing to the female world with its light and transparent shirts, shiny, embroidered, perforated or… totally absent!

Memories of tradition and craftsmanship combined with futuristic visions create collections with a perfect aesthetic balance. Flowing lines, unexpected details and novel combinations result in skillful tailoring, for bold and free fashion.
