It is difficult to establish exactly the trends dictated by the Spring Summer 2020 collections: the responses are many, and the lines dividing the styles are blurred and deceptive.
We are witnessing a coexistence of shapes and materials that was once unthinkable, shamelessly oscillating from classic to casual, from vintage to street wear, with unusual materials and chromatic combinations.

A soft, relaxed approach to more formal clothing: blazers with soft, deconstructed lines; mono jackets, double-breasted or classic, pinstriped or with micro-armour (the result of textile know-how and a great deal of research), are worn with trousers that relinquish the skinny fit in favour of an easier, more comfortable fit.

New fabrics, like those by Emporio Armani, with 3% of metal wire to create a shimmering effect because–as Giorgio claims–you need to shine in life. And the sublime mineral nuances such as iron, bronze or anthracite, all the way to rust and copper.

Ralph Lauren Purple Label uses a more powerful colour palette for its elegant evening suits with tuxedo jackets in shantung green, orange and fuchsia with ‘Burma Pants’ (a sort of British military trousers) while David Hart chooses electric blue and Brioni goes for gold and silver.

For an informal, chic look, stretch t-shirts and polo shirts in thin jersey instead of shirts worn under jackets or with a suit, and loose trousers with cuffed ankles for that sporty, yet elegant touch that we find even in the increasingly precious sneakers.

Natural fabrics such as wool, linen and canape, with a low environmental impact, mixed with technological cuts and special workmanship, giving life to unique, eco-sustainable, comfortable, and high-quality garments.
